What were the effects of the 2000 Spanish electoral campaign?

In this article, I analyse which were the effects of the 2000 electoral campaign in Spain. I argue and provide evidence for a fourth effect: deactivation. After having found the effects of the campaign, I search for the conditions under which it is more
likely that some effects are produced rather than others. The results show the different capacity of the variables when producing campaign effects.
