Abstract

The Sociology of Michel Maffesoli deals mainly with the polymorphic potential of
individuals. His post-moderm theory, focused in the transit from homo politicus-oeconomicus to
homo aestheticus, represents the exaltation of our individual feelings, our emotions, our wishes to
rebuild small communitarian tribes in a society that only tries to impose its functional cannons.
Shortly, the matter is to rehabilitate our spontaneous acting, dyonisiac against the power, always
abstract and mechanic, of society.
