Abstract

This article is based on the assumption that political science has never satisfactory resolved the question of how disproportionality should be measured. Different alternatives are reviewed, the use of the simplest and most intuitive index of all is proposed, and a certain empty and counterproductive abuse of mathematical science is criticized.
