Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyse, using Iramuteq software, a set of 185 court judgements handed down in Spain between 2000 and 2019 in cases with minors in which a social expert report has been provided as evidence. Methodologically, the analysis is approached quantitatively by means of word clouds, a similarity analysis and hierarchical descending classification, and qualitatively from the relational context of the conditions of production. We present a preview of the results, highlighting the greater presence of the social expert report in the civil jurisdiction as a key element in the assessment of the family social situation of minors and in the contentious-administrative jurisdiction in regard to possible compensation for the social harm caused by medical negligence.
